I just plugged it in today and so far it is working fine and getting cold. The mini freezer compartment seems to get very cold as well (my little thermometer in the picture I brought in from outside to test it says about 20° F). Started getting cold almost immediately after plugging it in. So so far I’m satisfied with how cold it’s getting which is why I bought it because I had just bought a smaller “personal chiller” from a different brand that did not get cold enough so I had to take that one back. The only issue I’m having with it which was present before plugging in is that it is unbalanced so it tips over a little whenever I open it. It seems that one of the 4 feet/legs on the bottom 4 corners of the fridge must be slightly shorter than the others. It is annoying but so far not causing too much issue. It’s also not too loud in my opinion. It does make noise but it is not constant. It gets a little louder after it’s been open for a minute and probably the compressor/machine or something needs to work to keep it cool (idk how fridges work lol) so that is the loudest part but again, that specific noise is not constant. I think it does make some noise though. If the Walmart website lets me I will update if anything changes but so far so good after only a day.

Purchased August 20, 2023, for the sole purpose of having a personal mini fridge in my work office. The mini fridge quit working in early March 2024. I reached out to the manufacturer for help, being that the mini-fridge is still within the one-year manufacturer warranty window. After an exhaustive conversation with the agent, the claim was submitted. After submitting the claim I received an email close to an hour after the initial call, providing me with my case %23 and requesting proof of purchase. I submitted the proof of purchase. And then, no confirmation of receipt of proof of purchase, no contact from Hisense, nothing. I replied to the email I received with my case%23 on April 11, 2024, inquiring about the issue, only to be told I do not qualify for warranty service because of rental/business use. This makes no sense. This is a personal mini fridge used exclusively by me. In fact, to access this mini fridge you would have to get under my desk and between my legs. It's like saying because I put the mini fridge in my home office it does not qualify for warranty repairs. What a joke. What a waste of money, time, and effort. Do yourself a favor and purchase a mini fridge from a reputable company. That is what I'll be doing. Haier is a great brand. I actually have a Haier mini fridge in my home office and have had it for 3 years now without one issue, and it runs like a CHAMP. The only reason I did not purchase another Haier mini fridge for my office away from home is because it is 2.5" too tall to fit under my desk. Hisense, you are a disappointment and I guarantee, I will not purchase anything with your company's name on it.

I've had many different mini refrigerators in my lifetime and now I needed a new one once again. I currently own a Hisense TV and soundbar and decided to add another Hisense product in my house. I wanted a low priced mini fridge that I could pickup quickly at my local Walmart store and this one was in stock. This fridge is very well packed and you can see that is made with good quality materials...I like the glass accent it has and that is one of the reasons I purchased it. One of m favorite features is the top of the door is one large handle, making it easy to open and close. I've tried the mini freezer compartment only with a freezer pack, and to my amazement it does freeze it, and that's all I would need that for! And I love that this mini fridge is really quiet. There is a very low noise coming from the motor, but much quieter than just about all the other mini fridges I've had. Only one small gripe I had was that on the online picture of the fridge, it looks like a silvery gray and somewhat of a stainless steel material but it is just plain black; but it's fine as plain back is ok. I think whenever I need a small mini fridge, I will stick with the Hisense brand. This is a great practical mini fridge at a great price. Very happy with this purchase!

The little fridge itself is good, very quiet, cooled quickly, and a perfect size for my office. The delivery from Walmart was fine, it was a cute older couple that very carefully unloaded the 30 lb mini fridge to my front door.

My issue is that it came damaged, with an 8-inch vertical dent in the middle of the front door. That occurred during transport from the manufacturer to Walmart. They need to do a much better job packaging the item, the heavy card box is NOT enough. They should add a piece of Styrofoam to the front and back to shield it. Over and over, I see many other reviewers experiencing the same damage.

Honestly, it's too much of a hassle to return it to the store because the fridge works well. Hisense NEEDS to do MUCH BETTER on packaging their product or it would have received 5 stars.
