SEKRI Awarded $102M Army Tactical Assault Panel Supply Contract

A Corbin, Kentucky-headquartered nonprofit organization has secured a $102.5 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to manufacture advanced tactical assault panels for the U.S. Army.

The Defense Logistics Agency awarded the contract to Southeastern Kentucky Rehabilitation Industries and will use defense working capital funds for fiscal year 2023 through fiscal 2026 to pay for the services, the Department of Defense said Friday.

The firm-fixed-price IDIQ award has an ordering period of three years that will conclude on June 15, 2026.

SEKRI is the qualified mandatory source of advanced tactical assault panels used for protective ballistic vests worn by special operation forces under the AbilityOne program.
